LEMON PLUM TOMATO x 15 organic seeds

Fruit is pointed on it's ends just like a lemon with solid meat, almost like a paste tomato. 2 x 3-inch (6 oz.) fruit is a bright, clear-yellow tomato with mild sweet flavor. Perfect tomato for salads, tomato sauce or even a wonderful yellow catsup.

You can have them in salads and raw on the plate, but plum tomatoes, due to the thick skin, the mushy interior, deep flavor and lower seed count, are the classical tomato for sauces. Cook your tomato sauce from scratch. One method is to fry the whole tomatoes in a deep frying pan on moderate heat.

Also known as Roma or paste tomatoes, plum tomatoes are oval-shaped and smaller than beefsteaks. They also have a lower water content compared to other types, with an almost chewy fleshmaking them particularly suited to sauce-making.
