The 14" Multitouch IPS display supports 10-finger gestures and features a Full HD 1920 x 1080 native resolution, LED-backlighting and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 840M graphics card has 2GB of DDR3 memory and delivers a sharp, clear picture. You'll also be able to output video to an external display using the system's HDMI port.

For storage of your files, the Yoga 14 has a 256GB Opal 2.0 SATA III 6 Gb/s SSD with a form factor of 2.5" / 7mm. While the SSD may not have the larger capacity of a traditional hard drive, it contains no moving parts and is able to operate at faster data transfer speeds. Because it has no moving parts, it is more resistant to damage from bumps and drops and do not have any read or write heads to wear down the drive media when contact occurs during read and write operations.

If you want to add external peripherals, the Yoga 14 offers 2 x USB 3.0 ports, once of which doubles as an always-on charging port, as well as 1 x USB 2.0 port. Network connectivity is achieved using 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 technology will also allow you to connect additional compatible peripherals. Other integrated features include a 4-in-1 SD & MMC media card reader, a 720p webcam, dual array microphones, and 2 x 1.5W stereo speakers that support HD audio and Dolby Advanced v4 using the Realtek ALC283 codec.
