An ukhamba is a traditional Zulu vessel, made from clay or woven basketry, used for brewing and serving umqombothi (sorghum beer) and for storing liquids or herbs. Beyond its function, it symbolizes unity, community, cultural identity, and hospitality within the Zulu community, with the act of drinking from it representing equality and trust.
