Leptospermum 100 seeds "White tea tree"

Leptospermum attenuatum or trinervium is a white flowering tea tree in the form of an open shrub to 4 metres in height by 3 metres in width.
Leaves are light green, oblong to ovate and up to 2 cm in length. The bark, a partiicularly attractive feature of this species, is papery and flaky. Primarily a spring flowering species it can flower intermittently at other times of the year.
Found in the wild from Queensland to Victoria it can take a variety of soils, is frost hardy and a useful haven for small nesting birds. Perhaps not the most showy of the tea trees for the garden, it does make a most attractive bonsai subject with its bark a feature.
