This item will require some TLC. The rear tyres are much newer than the front ones. The rear axle has obviously been replaced at the time when the tyres were replaced.

The driver has disappeared, he must have been fed up when he was expected to drive this car, when it had no chance of winning.

According to information I have received this is an early 1950's item, being prior to the Matchbox name being added to the Lesney name.
