Three letters sent to 36126 Corporal P.J.R. Pansegrouw while he was in P.O.W. camps in Italy and Germany between 1942 and 1944.
The first, dated 22/10/1942 is simply the front face of the envelope, sent to him while he was in a camp in Rome.
The second, which contains a two-page letter to him from his sister and brother-in-law Mr & Mrs Luther of Colenso was sent in March, 1943 to "Campo Concendrumento PGN 66" in Italy.
The third, also a two-page letter, was written by T.M. Pansegrouw of Standerton in June, 1944 while Corporal Pansegrouw was in Stamlager VII A. It contains the German Stalag stamps on both pages of the letter.
I haven't done any research about Corporal Pansegrouw, nor the unit he was in, but it does appear from the internet that he was also in Poland at some stage.
Yes, I will gladly post anywhere overseas.
