LG External GE20 20x Super Multi DVD Rewriter

LG External 20x DVD Rewriter with LightScribe disc labelling (on LightScribe compatible discs). Great for adding DVD reading and writing functionality to newer laptops which no longer include a CD/DVD drive.

One owner from new. Actual product images displayed (the serial number was only digitally blackened out and will be clearly visible).

Fully working but manufactured in September 2009 and is therefore sold as is.

The writer was mainly used for reading discs (software installations), and hardly for any writing of discs (around 4 DVD-RW writes). The tray is clean and free from dust (image 11).

The writer is up to 20x for its writing function on DVD-R with USB 2.0. (P.S. the maximum allowed speed of the disc must be followed for writing, not the maximum speed of the writer itself. Using the writer at speeds beyond the disc will still write to the disc, but create an unreadable disc or one with errors).

The light scribe function was tested and works great. 

Comes with the original box and all the accessories that was supplied, including the CD ROM with software, USB data cable, power adapter, and manual.

Will include one new and sealed Verbatim LightScribe 16x DVD+R disc (see last image above) in the box for buyer to test the LightScribe functionality of the Writer.

N.B.: The original plastic protective film is still on the tray as well as the top of the writer (never removed as the Writer was always stored back in the box after software installations), hence the top of the writer looks dull and scratched in the attached images.

The Writer is compatible with Windows 10 & Windows 11.
