About the artist in her own words: Liezl le Roux
I launched my solo career as an artist during 1996 and my works were popular from the onset amongst art galleries and art dealers alike nationally as well as internationally. I paint a wide variety of topics, including but not limited to, landscapes, figures, boat scenes and flower studies. The majority of my work is done in a unique acrylic based technique.
Vibrant use of colour is the most important ingredient in my paintings but plasticity of the subject is also present. Jointly they create an unexpected harmony transforming a blank canvas into a visual feast .My imagination is a filter between nature and canvas
I have a keen interest and passion to express my creativity through photography as well.
