Freedom Won 12v wiring configuration - Suitable for parallel and series configurations using the same a/h (model and type) and same brand.
Parallel Configuration: Can be connected in parallel to unlimited numbers provided that the voltages of all units are similar to each other - within a delta of 0,06V prior to being connected.
Series Configuration: Can be connected in sets of: 2 (24V) 26V nominal voltage, 3 (36V) 39V nominal voltage or 4 (48V) 52V nominal voltage. Prior to connection connect each unit in parallel and charge fully to 14,2V then reconfigure into series connection.
If additional capacity is required multiple units can be connected in parallel to form a parallel group, then up to four of these groups can be connected in series. Each parallel group must contain the same number of units of the same model and type and each unit in a parallel group must be connected with all positive and negative poles connected to each other respectively.
NB - caution: Separate parallel strings that are only connected at the pack negative and positive ends are not recommended.

Charger type: The chemistry is so stable that LiFePO4 batteries will accept a charge from a lead-acid configured charger.
Technology: What is the difference between lithium ion and lithium iron phosphate batteries?
A lithium-iron battery is also a rechargeable type of battery but made with lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the cathode material. While lithium-iron is a newer version in the lithium battery family, its anodes are also made up of carbon in batteries. Phosphate chemistry also offers a longer cycle life.
Expected Life Cycle: In off-grid systems is over 15 years, in grid-connected backup installations with occasional cycling is more then 20 years. The end of life is defined by when the cells contain 60% of their Beginning of Life (BoL) capacity. LiFePO4 does not deteriorate from standing unused and self-discharge is extremely low making it an ideal battery for backup systems such as load-shedding, camping applications etc.
Higher initial cost: Long term much cheaper than your average deep cycle batteries - 10 times the number of cycles more and as much as 5 times that of the more robust single cell flooded lead acid types.
