LILLIPUT LANE "KILN COTTAGE"

      Lilliput Lane, founded in 1982 by David Tate, was a company known for its extensive range of realistic miniature handmade models of real English and Welsh cottages and scenes. 

Made with a special kind of fine plaster used to capture every exquisite detail, the cottages are Hand Made & painted in the UK.

Kiln Cottage 1998 L2124

This tiny cottage it was strongly linked to hand-crafted ceramic ware since the middle of the 17^th century.

Built form rugged Devon stone, it used to be situated in a hamlet close to Ludford, which is on the fringe of Dartmore.  

Unfortunately, during a severe storm that lasted a whole day and night, the cottage was destroyed.
