LIMA GOLDEN SERIES HO: Vintage SAR "Trans Karoo" Electric Train Set in Good Boxed condition (Italy)

A highly collectible train in excellent working order is up for auction. The set includes one very well-maintained analogue electric locomotive with Lima couplings. This loco has undergone extensive testing and maintenance, and it operates flawlessly in both directions. One original Lima spring and three aftermarket springs are included with Panto's.  Paint is in excellent condition. Slight corrosion on the couplings that was removed and treated. All three coaches are equipped with double axil bogeys, original paintwork, and stained brass wheelsets.  The train set consists of one guards van, one diner coach, and one first class passenger coach. The 1st class coach has some small repairs to the undercart. The original box is in a moderately repaired state. These sets from the 1980s are no longer available in this condition, so this is for the serious collector. Since it is included in the description, please refer to the photos for more information.
