On auction is this vintage 80's SAR KIMBERLEY train set in good operational condition. The set consists of: 1 x Diesel locomotive in good running condition with old style Lima couplings. This unit was fully tested, lubricated and operates well in both directions. Nothing seems to be missing from this loco, paintwork in good condition; 2 x SAR Tanker wagons with single plastic wheel sets (Lima couplings) : 1 x 12 volt analogue power supply/speed controller in good working condition; 1 x metal Lima round track , cleaned and tested: None of these models has any corrosion on the metal parts. Overall, it is in very good condition for its age and is highly collectible. I had to repair the box. Please see photos for detail for it is part of the description.
