On auction is this SAR “Trans-Karoo” loco in good working condition. It has slight surface corrosion on the metal parts, this can easily be removed. It is a 4 wheel drive locomotive in good running condition with old style Lima couplings. This unit was fully tested and operates well in both directions. It is fitted with aftermarket cow catchers. The paintwork, decals, and pantographs(new aftermarket springs) are in good shape. One headlight has been repaired. Please see photos for detail for it is part of the description.
