Limited numbered moulding of sculpture "Groot Trek 1838-1988" - signed Phil Potgieter. The original sculpture of this sculpture would have been produced by Phil Potgieter in about 1988. It would then have been casted, and these moulds would have been produced from that. This is the signed moulding number 4. The sculpture is of and old "Oom" and "Tannie" sitting on a large wooden trunk. It has a plaque on the front "Groot Trek 1838-1988" and one on the back "Vorentoe Vir Suid Afrika 1838-1988" and signed Nr 4 Phil Potgieter. It measures 31cm x 21cm x18cm. It is in good condition but has 2 cracks on the trunk - these cracks are natural not from dropping. Great piece of South African history.
