Limoges Porcelain Miniature Water Jug Pitcher

The jug is white porcelain with a gold-painted spout, gold-painted carry handle, and gold-painted pour handle. On one side of the jug, there is a landscape with an 18th-century French "courting couple" in the foreground. The gentleman is wearing a cape, brown jerkin, brown knee breeches, and white stockings; the lady is wearing a long, fully gathered, rose-colored skirt with a blue bodice. The colors are soft, dreamy, and romantic.
