         EX (Excellent): Pretty much like a new CD  but it isn't sealed.

         VG++ (Very Good ++): Looks relatively flawless, with only superficial signs of use.

      VG+ (Very Good +) May exhibit minor surface marks that shouldn't affect playback at all

         VG (Very Good): Noticeable light scuffs or scratches. Will play through without problems.

         VG- (Very Good -): May have numerous light scratches or marks that will affect music quality some, but readily playable.

COVER (SLEEVE) GRADING: 

         EX: Like new.

      VG++: Looks like new with minor wear

         VG+: May have light corner bumps or very minor scuffmarks.

         VG: Rougher corners, creasing.

         VG-: The defects as described under VG are exacerbated.
