Linksys Router - WRT54GL - Open Source

This router is AMAZING. With the standard firmware, it is good but by upgrading it to the firmware availble at www.dd-wrt.com (Please note that upgrading the firmware does invalidate any warranty) this router can do incredible stuff. This is the same router that was used to break a distance record for WiFi links.

If you are looking for a great router with brilliant stability etc, this is the one to get. If you want to play a bit and do something fancy, this is the router to get. And this is just the cheapest price you are likely to find for this gadget in SA at the moment.
