DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
DESCRIPTION	A lovely and large LINN WARE DRIPGLAZE VASE. It is marked 'Linn Ware' underneath by hand. The vase stands 19 cm tall. It is 16,6 cm wide at the widest point and the rim diameter is 13.5 cm. You can see an image of the item above and there are four more images and further particulars below. Please have a look at them and ask a question if there is anything you are unsure about.
CONDITION	In good condition, with only a minute factory - produced kiln touch mark near the base which does not detract from it at all. This can be seen on the image above as well as close up on one of the images which follow.

NOTES
A lovely and unusual large vase for the collector.

The vase is in a lovely lustrous green with some brown flecking from the typical Olifantsfontein / Clayville clay. It also has the normal internal glazing in the same colour.

The hand written Linn Ware markings on the bottom.

There is a minute factory - produced kiln touch mark (or possibly it is a burst glaze bubble) near the base of the vase. It can also be seen on the main image above, where you can get an indication of it's size. It is hardly visible and does not detract from the item, but is mentioned here for purposes of accuracy and completeness of the description.
