Offered for sale is an attractive pair of small Linn Ware jugs in the iconic sea green glaze the studio is famous for. These are hand thrown pieces with applied handles and are small in size roughly equivalent to a modern creamer. Both pieces are in good condition with clean interiors. The jugs are clearly marked on the base with the LW initials painted onto the bottom in a white oxide glaze. These items were made at the Cullinan Olifantsfontein premises of the Linn Ware Studio in the 1940's. The dimensions are : height 7.8cm  ; width at the midpoint 7.5cm  ; width including handle 10cm ; width of the base 4cm  ; top aperture 5.5cm
