Painting in oil, Kerré’s works are characterized by a unique vibrancy and boldness. Brilliant colours and spontaneity of style conspire to breathe life into every subject. From the mundane to Madiba, Kerré’s works include everything from still lives of a pair of shoes or a watering can, to a portrait of former-president Nelson Mandela.

Despite the diversity of her work, Kerré’s distinctive style is easily recognized, and has generated a broad appeal, with repeat clients from as far afield as Ireland, Dubai, the United States, Spain, Germany, Namibia and the United Kingdom.

Kerré’s inspirations are as broad-based as her work itself. Van Gogh, Modigliani, Picasso, Gauguin and Dali, as well as local artists Velaphi Mzimba and Johannes Kloppers have all had an influence in her creative journey.

Kerré has participated in numerous group exhibitions locally and abroad and is currently exhibiting her work at The Hout Bay Gallery, Hout Bay, The Long Street Gallery, Long Street, Galerie De Lyons, Gardens.
