LIONS TAIL/ KLIP DAGGA x 15 seeds

Also known as Lions Ear, Lions Tail (Leonotis leonurus) is a large evergreen shrub with furry foliage that shows off tiered whorls of bright orange tubular flowers. Lions Tail will flower for most of the year in warmer climates, peaking in Summer in cooler climates.

A member of the Lamiaceae family; related to Mint, Lavender and other mediterranean plants, Lions Tail is drought tolerant once established and grows well in any well drained soil. Preferring a full sun to partly shaded position and excellent for the hot and dry areas of most gardens, Lions Tail can be used for hedges and borders as well as pots and containers.  Prune lightly after flowering to maintain a compact shape.
