This unit is an essential tool if you use LIPO power. It works automatically on 2 - 6S and cannot be killed by reverse connection so is idiot proof.
The big value is that it will show each cell so you know what is really happening in your pack in real time.
I use it when flying and when testing batteries as it can show voltage under load.
Accuracy may not be to the 3rd decimal place but it is consistent and is as accurate as the other tools I use (within .1 of a volt which is all you need) and the voltage is consistent when compared with chargers.

Actually, I didn't think I needed this little gizmo, but ordered one just for fun.. Finding this item to be more valuable then I thought - lots of batteries in a mess and flying a bit longer than you supposed to ??  - hook the monitor to a battery and get an instant message if it's discharged or not.

Very good idea to get this small item. You can have it everywhere you go. It takes no time to check your cell on your Lipo anytime you need.
Check it after you charge your Lipo, or check after discharge. You always know the voltage of each cell and the total voltage. It is excellent because the total may be good and the cells unbalanced. Even with my charger, which is supposed to balance the Lipo when charging, one of the cells were unbalanced - maybe due to bad discharge. I saw that immediately with this small monitor, and I was able to balance the 3 cells with the Balancer before charging.
