A scarce transitional issue from Lithuanias early independence period, this 3 Talonas note was part of the provisional currency introduced in 1991 before the reintroduction of the Litas.

  • Denomination: 3 Talonas

  • Year of Issue: 1991

  • Obverse: Large numeral 3 with pine branch motif, text LIETUVOS RESPUBLIKA LTU TALONAS

  • Reverse: Two stylized birds (likely cranes/herons) in intricate linework design

  • Emblem: Lithuanian coat of arms (Vytis knight on horseback)

  • Condition: VF (Very Fine) light folds and handling marks, but all details remain clear and intact

This note is demonetized and holds no face value, but it is highly collectible as part of Lithuanias short-lived Talonas series, which is increasingly sought after by collectors of transitional and hyperinflation-era currencies.
