Little Acorn 5610MG Trail Camera

The Little Acorn 5610MG Trail Camera is a motion sensing camera to be used out in the field for capturing of animal photos or for security purposes to photograph intruders. The 5610MG can take a SIM card and has the ability to MMS or email photos to you. You can leave the Little Acorn 5610MG out in the field for up to 6 months and when you do return to it you can view the 12Mp images &  1080p HD videos on the built in screen. 

Overview:

The Little Acorn's 940nm InfraRed LEDs are called "no-glow" as they aren't visible to the human eye which is good for security use and to not interrupt the natural behaviour of the animals walking past. The camera works at night by using a black flash which won't be noticed by the subject. A clever new feature is that you can set it up to take one photo when it is triggered and then immediately afterwards it will start taking a video. 

Insert a SIM card with pre-loaded airtime to be able to use the MMS or email function. The SIM card will need to go through the RICA process and you'll need to have reliable cell phone signal for this to work properly. You can set it up to MMS you a low-res image or it can text you to say that a photo has been taken. This can be set up to be sent to up to 3 different cell numbers or 1 email address. Cleverly it can also SMS you when the battery is running low.
