The all-red strip features a white trim and is based on the iconic shirt of the 1983-84 season, which was worn during the European Cup final triumph in Rome.

Made using War-Tech, Warrior's signature apparel technology system, the shirt is highly-breathable, as well as moisture-wicking, keeping players dry.

Meanwhile, the four-way stretch mesh paneling under the arms and across the back allows airflow and ventilation, helping players stay comfortable in core heat areas of the body - something that is key for the players, according to Steven Gerrard.

Also on the new kit, the liver bird crest - re-introduced by Warrior in 2012 - has been incorporated into the design in two ways.

Running alongside the embroidered emblem, a new pin-striped sublimation print on the front of the shirt showcases the iconic symbol with 'Liverpool FC' interwoven using a darker red hue.
