OFTEN REFERRED TO AS GEORGIAN IN STYLE, THESE COLLECTABLE PORCELAIN DECORATIVE CABINET / WALL PLATES WERE MANUFACTURED BY LIVERPOOL RD POTTERY, STOKE-ON-TRENT AND WERE PRODUCED WITH A VARIETY OF IMAGE DECORATIONS OFTEN BASED ON PAINTINGS.

THIS PORCELAIN PLATE IS DECORATED WITH A PERIOD ROMANCE SCENERY DEPICTING A LADY ACCOMPANIED BY A GENTLEMAN WITH BOTH IN THE PERIOD DRESS OF THE 18th CENTURY. THEY ARE DEPICTED AS STROLLING TOGETHER IN A LUSH GARDEN LANDSCAPE AND THE ITEM IS PRINT / TRANSFERWARE SIGNED. THE IMAGE IS ENCIRCLED UPON THE VERGE OF THE PLATE BY MAGNIFICENT FLORAL AND LEAF PATTERN GOLD GILT ALONG WITH GOLD TRIM
