This volume of memoirs comes to confirm the fact that almost everything known about Gabriel García Márquez comes from interviews and his work and to bring moving testimonies about the author's "secret life" because, as he reveals himself, "man has three lives: public life, private life and secret life, the one that we, writers, most often narrate; my entire life is encoded in my novels".
