LM3914 LED Bargraph Driver IC
The LM3914 is a Monolithic Integrated Circuit that Senses Analog Voltage Levels and Drives 10 LEDs Providing a Linear Analog Display, Drives LEDs, LCDs or Vacuum Fluorescents, Bar or Dot Display Mode Externally Selectable by User, Expandable to Displays of 100 Steps.
A varying voltage can be applied to this IC to drive an LED display, or seperate LED's, of up to 10 segments
Perfect for Volume level indication, Speed, Revs or whatever else you would like to try. We have even seen these used in a moisture level indicator.
A highly versatile IC, supplied as an 18 pin chip. Can be soldered directly to a circuit board, or will fit into an 18 pin socket or Breadboard.
