Differences between left and right audio affect the locational accuracy of the sounds we hear creating a disadvantage for the listener. With G522 LIGHTSPEED we've solved these distortions through synchronized, self-contained, acoustic modules so players know precisely when and where in-game sounds are coming from.
Audio Layers
When listening to game audio, many different sound layers play at the same time, like music, sound effects, dialog, voice chat, and more. PRO-G drivers are built to reproduce audio from multiple sound layers simultaneously so you hear each sound layer as clearly as possible.

Sound waves bounce off any surface they come in contact with and with each bounce the sound changes. Since our acoustic modules are completely isolated from other components that gives us more control to increase the bass output for a richer audio experience.

The 48 kHz mic boom is fully removable so if you don't need your mic you can easily pop it out making it easier to pack your headset, drink your drink, snack on your snack, or anything else. The mic boom even has a red LED in the tip so you know for sure whenever you go on mute.
