RASPBERRY RUBY AND BAROQUE PEARL EARRINGS. 925

These glamorous long drop and dangle earrings are crafted in gold-hued solid sterling silver, and have 3 separate, articulated segments. The stud features a small, round-faceted, raspberry pink ruby claw set in a coronet-shaped element with intricate, textured detailing and openwork adding interest. This is followed by a larger round-cut natural ruby. The second element features a flat taped gold hued bar that houses 4 x small rubies, with the same detailing and texture. The third element features a lustrous, creamy Baroque pearl dangling below another round-cut slightly larger raspberry ruby, claw set in a detailed flat loop. The 3 elements are all well-articulated, which ensures plenty of movement. The contrasting colour combination is strong and striking - distinctly royal in feel - and the lustre of the pearl adds an elegant element. The earrings measure 50mm long x 7mm wide (the pearl is 10mm in diameter), weigh a good 8,7 grams together, and bear the 925 hallmark indicating sterling silver.
