Description

John Wayne, Robert Mitchum and Henry Fonda star in this war drama centered around the D-Day landings in Normandy. The events of Tuesday 6th June 1944 are told from the points of view of high-ranking officials on both sides of the conflict. As German forces disagree about where the Allies will land and how likely it is that they will come given the stormy weather, General Dwight D.

Eisenhower (Henry Grace) decides to proceed with the planned invasion of France. The cast also includes Kenneth More, Richard Burton and Stuart Whitman.
