Tey Pottery was originally started in 1977 by Carol Maxted-Massey in Colchester. Her brother, Michael Grigg, was also involved until 1987. The pottery itself is based on actual buildings and has been made at 4 Norfolk locations: - Essex (1977-1979) - Hainford (1979 - 1983) - Lenwade (1981-1985) - Banham (1985-2002) In 2002, Carol Maxted-Massey retired to Spain and the production of the pottery ceased.
