Makers mark: Stamped with underglaze stamping machine.

Typical Liebermann but this one is very heavy. Known best for their murals and wall tiles 1970 - 1985 especially. .
Sammy and Mary Liebermann personally managed the studio until 1984 when he passed away.
All wares produced by Liebermann had the following endearing qualities:

• He (Sammy) maintained a strict uniformity of colour and form so that customers could replace broken items and restore their full set
• He repudiated harsh corners and rigid lines 
• He understood the physical link between form and production, presentation of food, washing up of crockery and freezing of home cooked meals (Source: Scorched Earth)
