Four MINT and valuable Irma Stern Art Catalogues. All in superb and unread condition. 

1. Brushing up on Stern - The Permanent collection of Iziko. Catalogue of the exhibition, Iziko South African National Gallery, Cape Town

This exhibition took place "on the eve of the 50th anniversary of her death,with the specific intention of opening a wider debate and bringing fresh perspectives and insights on her work to a new generation of South Africans." Hayden Proud, pg. 11

123 pages, numerous colour and black and white illustrations.

2. Journeys To The Interior - Unseen Works by Irma Stern 1929 - 1939, an exhibition of original paintings and sketches, opened to the public in April 2006. This catalogue, from the exhibition, comprises a foreword, four chapters, numerous colour and b/w plates, a bibliography and a chronology. 

3. Paradise. The Journal and Letters (1917-1933) of Irma Stern. Signed and numbered by the author. 

The book's immediacy, passion and colour epitomise South Africa most highly rated painter - in 112 quarto pages, half in colour, including her 52 pp journal, "discovered, after the artist's death, lodged at the back of a disused cupboard in the studio of her house some time after its conversion into the Irma Stern Museum".

4. Hulde aan - Homage to Irma Stern 1894 - 1966. South African National Gallery, Cape Arts Festival 1968. This exhibition catalogue is presented by the Rembrandt Van Rijn Art Foundation in co-operation with the Cape Arts Festival and the S A National Gallery - 1968. Contents include - Introduction, Some notes on the palette of Irma Stern, Catalogue, Illustrations, Biographical Notes, One man exhibitions, Films on Irma Stern, Previous catalogues and Bibliography. Softcover, 52 pages, 13 full page plates (all black and white). Text in English and Afrikaans.
