Royal Doulton; Honest Measure Small D6108 Toby Jug - green coat, orange waistcoat with black buttons, burgundy breeches, brown hat with gold trim. Designed by Harry Fenton.
Royal Doulton; Beefeater Miniature D6251 Character Jug - a black round brimmed Tudor bonnet/hat, white neck ruff ,"scarlet" tunic and handle. Queen Elizabeth I introduced the distinctive white neck ruff. The Yeomen of the Guard and warders of the Tower of London are colloquially referred to as Beefeaters. The name Beefeater came from a visiting Grand Duke who was astonished by the large amounts of beef eaten by the Yeoman Guards.
Royal Doulton; Arriet Tiny D6250 Character Jug - green hat, brown coat, yellow scarf. Designed by Harry Fenton. Arriet is a coster of costermonger, a cockney woman who sold fruits and vegetable from a barrow in the streets of London. She is a variation of the Pearly Girl character jug.
