LOUIS ROSSEL NEUCHATEL TRAVEL ALARM CLOCK
Very difficult to find any information related to this item but from what I have seen it would appear that this Alarm Clock was made in the sixties, possibly the early seventies. It is Swiss Made and in working condition. The two pull-out Crowns are for winding and setting the time. The first crown on the left, in the normal position winds the watch, in the pull out position sets the time on the watch. The second, right hand crown, in the normal position winds the alarm and in the pull-out position sets the alarm time. The alarm makes quite a racket for a time-piece this size and runs for as long as it was wound. Pushing the crown back in stops the alarm. I think this is an awesome time piece and very different. This particular item may have been an award or even promotional item from Koehring Company based on the brass tag attached.
CONDITION: Overall the clock/watch is in very good condition. The glass/crystal is in excellent condition with minimal scratches. The casing and brass housing could do with a good clean. There are some marks I would assume from the elements which can be expected being 40-to-50 years old. These marks are not really noticeable unless you are looking for them and I think would polish out being brass. The worst marks are on the back-side where the casing and watch back come together when in the closed position, again, very minimal wear & tear for a watch this old and leads me to believe this watch was not used much at all.
