Light: Love Palms thrive in bright, indirect light but are also highly tolerant of lower light conditions. This makes them ideal for rooms or offices where sunlight is limited.
💧 Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist, but don't let the plant sit in water. Allow the top few centimetres to dry before watering again. They're forgiving if you miss the odd watering but prefer consistency.
🌡 Temperature & Humidity: These palms do best in average home conditions, ideally between 1626°C. They tolerate normal humidity but will appreciate a little misting in very dry air.
🪴 Soil & Repotting: For healthy roots, plant in our Aroid Mix or make your own with Barks Unlimited Potting Soil and Perlite. Add Bark Chips for aeration. These smaller palms don't need frequent repotting and will happily grow in their pots for quite a while.
🍃 Fertiliser: Love Palms are steady growers but do appreciate feeding during the growing months. Use Controlled Release Fertiliser every few months, or supplement with an Organic Fertiliser to keep foliage lush and green.
🐛 Pests: Generally pest-free but may occasionally attract spider mites in dry conditions. Wipe leaves clean and treat with insecticidal spray if needed.
