 Peruvian Alpaca Silver Is Made From (alloy of zinc, iron and nickel). It has properties of stainless steel and will not tarnish.  Alpaca products are hypo-allergenic and extremely lightweight. Some of the semi-precious stones used are Agate, Red Jasper, Onyx, Rose Quartz, Tigers Eye and Celestine - Other materials are Murano Glass, beads and seeds, Cat's Eye beads and various coloured beads.

 Taking care of your Alpaca jewellery:

The best way to take care of your Alpaca silver jewellery is to wash with warm water and a hint of lemon, or you can even use a mild soap, washing up liquid or even shampoo.  Once washed, it will look like sparkling new again. Please do not use Silver dipping liquids, as they will harm your jewellery and as with any jewellery do not spray perfume directly on it, as it will discolour due to the alcohol content.
