Lovely Black Basalt Wedgwood 'Venus' Figurine 

This lovely, mid 1900's 'Wedgwood' matt black, basalt figurine, titled 'Venus', is modelled as a standing nude female resting against a tree stump, mounted on a raised round base. It is impressed on the side of the base 'WEDGWOOD' and 'VENUS', and other than a small, faded patch (possibly from a sticker), on the side of her upper leg, she's in great condition. The figure stands 24,5cm high with a base diameter of 10cm and weighs 450g.
