Lovely distressed antique leatherbound Cassell's Illustrated Family Bible Vol iv - c 1875. This lovely old Bible was produced by Cassell, Petter & Galpin, London & New York. It is inscribed "Annie Eliza Wright, Presented to her on her Sixth Birthday by her Mamma, January 3rd 1888. It has pages for births, The family register, marriages and deaths which have notes. The Bible is illustrated with numerous highly finished engravings. The Bible is leather bound with leather corner covers. Unfortunately the Bible is very old, and the front cover has detached from the inner pages (although still strongly connected to the book. The first 3 pages are loose. Thus, some restoration will be required. However, a lovely historical book.
