You could use this as an ice bucket for a bottle of wine maybe but I was thinking it may be better suited as a vase for your flower arrangement. A bunch of roses for instance would look stunning in this bucket on a table in your entrance hall. Or wherever. No damage except for the obvious tarnishing inside but it stands firmly, solidly, no damage and still lovely from the outside.
