Lovely Quality Antique Brass Fireplace Set & Stand
This great quality, traditional, antique brass fireplace companion set, comprises of a lovely heavy brass stand with an impressive, art deco looking tripod base, a fire poker, wood or coal tongs, an ash shovel and brush, all with matching brass handles. There's a 'RD 428852' (Registered Design Number) stamped on the underside of the base and on the shovel which helps date this set to around 1906. The set is beautifully made with a good weight and quality feel to it, and other than a small strip of brass missing near the poker end, it's in excellent condition. The height of the stand is 76,5cm and together the set weighs 3,7kg.
