Steps for Installing an O2 Sensor:
1. Disconnect the battery to avoid any accidental short circuits.
2. Find the old sensor, which is typically located on the exhaust manifold or pipe.
3. Unplug the sensor connector by carefully detaching the wiring harness.
4. Take out the old sensor using an O2 sensor socket or wrench to unscrew it.
5. Clean the sensor port by removing any rust or debris from the threaded hole.
6. If the anti-seize compound is not pre-applied, apply it only on the thres, makg sure to avoid the sensor tip.
7. Manually install the new sensor and then use a wrench to secure it (avoid excessive tightening).
8. Reattach the sensor wiring by firmly plugging the harness back in.
9. Reconnect the battery to restore power to the system.
10. Start the engine and verify for any error codes.
