Scarce and early (1910s/1920s) side mounting carriage or automobile oil lantern by Lucas of Birmingham. Good condition except for cracked glass, with nickled finish still in place. Untested, but all parts seem to be present.  Comes with photo of the first car in Pretoria (pre Boer War) as well as a nespaper cutting showing a similar lamp mounted on a Ford Model A. Nice piece of automobilia!
