The Small Upgrade That Switches On Your Light's Brain
Your 720W Triple Black has a full touchscreen master controller built in. Without a sensor, it knows nothing about your room. Plug in the Lucius Temperature & Humidity Sensor and it starts reading the two numbers every grow lives or dies by: the temperature and the relative humidity right where your plants are. Live, on the light, no guessing.
Built for One Light. Plugs Straight In.
This wired sensor probe connects directly to the 720W Samsung LM281B LED Grow Light with Integrated Touchscreen Master Controller | Lucius Triple Black Label. Once connected, your temperature and humidity readings are displayed and used through the light's integrated touchscreen. No extra controller, no hub, no app.
Why Canopy Readings Beat a Cheap Wall Hygrometer
- Your room and your canopy are not the same climate. A meter stuck on the tent wall can read several degrees and several percent off what your plants are actually sitting in. This probe goes where the plants are.
- Temperature plus humidity gives you VPD. VPD is what drives how hard your plants drink and transpire. Many growers aim for roughly 0.8 to 1.2 kPa in veg and 1.2 to 1.6 kPa in flower. You cannot steer it if you cannot see it.
- Catch problems before they cost you. Humidity spikes at lights off are where bud rot and powdery mildew start. Heat stress at lights on is where yield and terpenes go. Live readings show you both.
What You Get
- Live ambient temperature and relative humidity fed straight into the Lucius smart control system.
- The data behind VPD monitoring on your Triple Black, so your climate adjustments are based on real numbers.
- A wired probe you can position at canopy height, right in the grow zone.
- One screen for everything: dimming, schedule, sunrise and sunset, and now your climate.
- Genuine Lucius hardware with local South African support.
Setup in Three Steps
- Hang the probe at canopy height, out of direct light and away from the direct blast of a fan or humidifier.
- Plug it into the sensor port on your 720W Triple Black.
- Read your live temperature and humidity on the light's touchscreen.
Who This Is For
Every single Triple Black 720W owner. This is the first sensor to add. It is the most affordable way to turn your light from a very good lamp into a climate aware control centre, and it is the foundation the VPD readings are built on.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it work with other lights or controllers?
It is designed for the touchscreen controller on the 720W Lucius Triple Black. If you run a different Lucius model, message us before ordering and we will confirm compatibility for you.
I already have a hygrometer. Why do I need this?
A standalone hygrometer shows you a number. This feeds the number into your light's controller, so your climate data and your lighting live on one system and one screen.
Where should I place it?
At canopy height, shaded from direct light, in free moving air. Raise it as your plants grow.
Do you deliver?
Yes, Plant Living delivers nationwide across South Africa.
