Lugols Iodine - a 12% Solution 30ml

Health Leads makes Lugols Iodine solution according to the Dr Hulda Clark recipe. Lugols contains iodine and potassium iodide in distilled water. This equals a 12% solution of elemental iodine.

Some have named their Lugol's "5% Lugols Solution" referring only to the initial amount of iodine added. We do not refer to our product as "12% Lugols Solution" but rather: "Lugol's Iodine - A 12% Solution" since we want our customers to know exactly how much iodine they are taking.

The History of Iodine and Lugol's Jean Francois Coindet (1774-1834) was the first to use Iodine for medicinal use. Lugol's was first made by French physician J G A Lugol in 1829. Dr. Lugol researched substances that could help treat infections and found that Iodine could be used and showed promise in this field. How the original Lugol's Iodine Solution was made by Dr. Lugol His Lugols Iodine consisted of 5g of Iodine & 10g of Iodide in 85ml of distilled water.
