Hardcover published by L.J. Veen, undated but circa 1904, no jacket. The boards are square and solid, with some bumps and wear and discolouration to the edges, and especially the spine. There is some mild tanning to the first and last few pages, but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. There is a slight crack to the binding at page 97, but all pages are still well bound. All photographic plates are present, and the fold-out map is intact.
