The game reserve comprises 2011 hectares of unspoilt bushveld near Vaalwater in the Waterberg, 2 hours drive from Pretoria. This is an exclusive game reserve not open to the general public.
You can settle in and relax, go game viewing or hiking on one of the many trails or do some bird watching.
The luxury fully serviced chalet (linen and towels supplied) is built on 3 levels and comprises of the following: Middle level: Modern open plan kitchen with large living and dining room area (bring your own DSTV card). Leading from the dining and lounge area is a large patio with a breathtaking view over the game reserve. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Outside on this level is a carport for two cars and a boma with braai area. Top level: Two bedrooms each with two single beds. One bathroom (shower only) and separate toilet with wash basin. Lower level: A built-in braai entertainment area with sliding doors leading to a wooden deck area and a small swimming pool - also overlooking the game reserve. Other amenities include a communal swimming pool and two tennis courts. A modern Spar, banks, butcheries, restaurants and curio shops are only 7 km away in Vaalwater, the business hub of the area. 53 species of game and 270 bird species can be seen on the game reserve. An area where two of the big five (rhino and buffalo) can be found, is fenced off with electrified fencing. If is therefore safe to hike on the reserve or to do mountain biking.
