Review:
Well the title says it all...
Prince Jasim Bin Hamid Al Rais seduces his nieces nanny Elinor Tempest because he thinks she's a gold digger who has her sights set on the child's father (his brother). Surprise, surprise, she's a virgin and even more amazingly she gets pregnant. Cue one wedding.
Of course, none of us read Mills and Boon for the originality of the plots. Once you've worked out it's 'boy meets girl' you've pretty much summed them all up. Ater that, it all boils down to characterization, dialogue and passion. Lynne Graham knows how to do all three and she does them extremely well. She's also very good with a trilogy and this is the first novel in a new set. Personally I can't wait for the others.
I must admit that it took me awhile to warm to the characters. There's a lot going on in this novel and some of it really didn't have to be there. For me, the book didn't really get going until Jasim realises that he's totally wrong about Elinor. She, on the other hand, doesn't realise that he's misjudging her until it's too late. It's what happens next that makes the book worth reading and it was at that point that I started to like both hero and heroine and enjoy the story which unfolded.
Lynne Graham is the only current Mills and Boon author I'm prepared to recommend. She's certainly the only one I buy and I always look forward to her books.
