It has a lockable side focus that can focus down to 10 meters and with a six ratio magnification range from 2.5 to 15, it can be used over a very wide range of distances.

Fitted with Tactical finger adjustable turrets and the Mil Dot Reticle, specifically with tactical and range finding applications in mind.
